When can I bring my bird to a meeting?

The bird cannot show any signs of sickness or disease.
- Birds often do not show signs of illness until they are very sick, so watch for subtle clues.
- Signs of illness include change in appetite, ruffled feathers, change in droppings that cannot be attributed to food, lethargy, skin lesions, etc...
- Do not bring a sick bird to a meeting for someone to look at and/or diagnose.

You must have owned your bird for at least 60 days.

The Wilmington NC Bird Club is not and will not be held responsible for any infection or disease acquired at or through our meeting.

There is a risk of infection for your bird any time it comes in contact with another bird, please be mindful.
