The Wilmington NC Bird Club and Rescue's purpose is to educate people about bird care and to provide a resource for birds that need fostering or rescue - it is not to facilitate the sale of birds; there are other venues for that sort of classified ad. If a bird owner has a situation where they need to give up a bird and find it a good home for whatever reason, then our members can be made aware of the situation and contact the current owner re: adoption or rescue; our members do this free of charge and make this commitment of time and financial resources because they love birds. |
